Satire, if rightly used is one of the most powerful literary themes. It is a fine line between humour/exaggeration and insult. Those who play with thin line live in a constant danger of offending the listening or viewing party. But, then again, nothing extraordinary comes easy. Sometimes…nah, Most of the times, satire aids in verbally presenting oneself like nothing else can. Thus, using this category, we aim to present abstract concepts/ideas in a different way.

BCCI has become a Frankenstein's monster with Dr. Frankenstein being the game of cricket. It has become the lone stubborn child who has learned to say "no".

With 9 months of hindsight, it’s not only the trio who have had time to introspect. We, as the stakeholders of the game should have had introspected as well. Were we right in behaving the way we did or could we have handled our reactions in a better manner?

Commentary feeds directly to the soul of the viewer. If commentary is so important, why aren’t the right people being chosen to personify it? The ripples of the falling level of commentary are serious as it has fallen at alarming rate to the level of being banal.

If the past 5 years are any indication of the future, the future does not look good. Presence of politics in cricket is going to eat this game from within. And for what cost? Entertainment? Money? Power?
